Recovery Capital Conference to host Patrick J. Kennedy as Keynote Speaker September 26

Toronto / September 26, 2019 – Recovery Capital Conference Toronto is hosting its second annual addiction conference, taking place September 26-27 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto. Patrick J. Kennedy, former U.S. Representative (D-RI), lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, and founder of The Kennedy Forum and of DontDenyMe.org, will be a keynote speaker. He will also participate in a fireside chat alongside industry leaders from New Start Foundation and from Edgewood Health Network.

According to the conference website, its goal is to increase the collective understanding of the full continuum of options, including evidence-based treatment, behavioral and psychological interventions, harm reduction, medication assisted therapies, and peer support/12-step recovery programs. The event will feature world-renowned experts, policy influencers and disrupters who will discuss, share, and collaborate on the many facets of recovery.
